Participants will be divided into three training groups based on skill level and experience:

• 🌱 Lowest & youngest level.

If you do not play competitive basketball and your skills are very basic, we strongly recommend registering for the SKILLS CAMP 2025, a camp specially designed for developing players, located approximately 4 hours north of Budapest.

The desire to go to the USA is not a requirement to participate in BUDAPEST CAMP.

This camp is designed for players who truly want to develop.

• with your club’s and coach’s approval, use this experience in a new environment or abroad.

  • Airfare, bus, or train tickets must be purchased individually by each participant.

  🛡️ Sports Insurance

  • Each player is required to have their own valid sports insurance for the duration of the camp.

🌙 Night League – Competition Format

🔥 The Night League is a high-level competition built on 100% commitment on both defense and offense.

🛡️ Players who do not give full effort on the defensive end will see reduced playing time compared to players who consistently work hard on defense.

🏀 Teams & Game Format

• Teams consist of 6–8 players maximum,

• Games are played with reduced game time due to short rotations,

• High intensity and responsibility are expected from every participant.

🎯 Draft & Team Leadership

The Night League is preceded by an official Draft.

During the Draft:

• Players are assigned to teams,

• Team captains are selected,

• Captains, together with their teams, set the playing style, tempo, and basic tactics.

🏆 Captains are chosen during the first two days of training,
typically among the most outstanding players — usually the oldest or most experienced participants.

📝 Registration, Payments & Camp Rules

By registering for BUDAPEST CAMP, parents and players accept all terms and regulations of the camp.

1️⃣ Registration Process

• 🖱️ The first step is to register for the camp by clicking the “SIGN UP TO OUR CAMP” button.

• 📧 After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail sent to the address provided during online registration.

💳 Payments & Reservation

• To guarantee participation in the camp, an advance payment of €150 is required after submitting the application form.
  👉 This payment secures your spot at HOOPLIFE BUDAPEST CAMP.

• 📩 Payment instructions will be sent to the e-mail address provided during registration.

• 💰 The second and final payment must be made by June 28, 2026,
  at least two weeks before the start of the camp.

🔄 Refund Policy

• A full refund (advance + final payment) is possible only in the case of:

  • a documented injury, or

  • a chronic disease,
    submitted to the organizer by June 28, 2026.

• If a documented injury or chronic disease is submitted after June 28, 2026,
  the full price will not be refunded.
  👉 The organizer will retain €150 and refund the remaining amount.

• If participation is not possible and reported after June 28, 2026,
  it is possible to replace the registered player with another participant who wishes to join the camp at the last moment.

🏀 Camp Preparation

• We strongly recommend:

  • implementing pre-camp training 14–21 days before the camp,

  • followed by 5 days of rest before arrival,
    to ensure full recovery and optimal performance.

🚍✈️ Transportation

📧 Around two weeks before the camp, we will contact you by e-mail to confirm one of the following transportation options:

1️⃣ Airport pick-up (Budapest)
2️⃣ Own transport – by car
3️⃣ Arrival by train
4️⃣ Arrival by bus

🚐 Good news for 2026:

• The cost of transportation from and to the airport is covered by the organizer this year.

• For arrivals by plane, train, or bus, we offer pick-up from stations/airport based on individual arrival schedules.

⏱️ Exact pick-up and drop-off times will be provided once all arrival and departure details of participants are confirmed.
